Us

I am brilliant at organised, mimimal and simplified when asked to do work. Or asking to organise my own home and office. But... Ask me to decribe us. To do a short intoducation on who we are, what we do. And I tend to get carried away.

Plan: Do a simple "This is us". Reality. A mixture of photos that I feel show us. I could have posted 200. I will probably add as we go along..

This is me end of August '2012.

Us in a very unedited, very real photo. This was hardly a week after their dad died. We were on a golf course, having lunch, a walk and fun. I turned the camera around while we sitting on the grass and took this. Well I guess this is us then. Just not me at my best. But I can work with 3 / 4 looking their cutest.

 One of our usual things. While waiting for a take-away. We share a drink. Bonding.

 

What they do best. Dressing up. Woke up, said I can't watch. This was what I had to work with: One princess, one cat and a horse riding owl. I can plan a day around it.

First day of school / quarter, we do this. Makes for easy, lazy photo sorting later on in life. This was them. 16 July 2012. 2 doctors and one mom (she wants to stay with me).

This is a place we frequent. And we always pose with this guy in front. Wilmien.

 Twins. Age 4.5, already playing the who is who game (switching clothes)..

It will never be easy to just say.. this is us. We are hardly conventional. But we love it. You can hardly call this baggage. This is what I call life. Every moment to be discovered. And messed on. And laughed at. This is us. And our journey. We work hard, school hard and play hard.

Part of my reason for starting this is to have a "album" of our life to show them when they are older.
